BOTRIVER FIELD TRIAL WEEKENDS
At the recent two Field Trial weekends held in Botriver in September, Port Elizabeth Labrador Retrievers worked extremely well.
At the Kennel Association Trial, Snipe handled by Verena Begemann won the Puppy Stake, whilst her dog Leo was placed second in the Maiden Stake, with SAHR points and received the Gun’s Choice Award.
Andre Thyunsma’s Nalla and Iain Judd’s Pepper were awarded Certificates of Merit in the Maiden Stake.
The following weekend, at the Cape Field Trial Association Field Trial, Snipe once again won the Puppy Stake, with Leo again placed second in the Maiden Stake, with SAHR points. Subject to confirmation, Leo is now a Novice Hunt Retriever.
Pepper won the Maiden Stake with SAHR points and was selected as Gun’s Choice.
